Shipping Policy

Production time

Standard production is about 2 weeks from the moment you approve your mockup (faster turnaround available with express shipping). Production does not begin until approval, so the clock starts when you say yes, not when you first enquire.

Woven baskets are produced with the rim bound over a core and with each stake end tucked beneath the rim and adhered rather than trimmed flush, on the stated basis that stake retention at the rim determines the service life of a woven product; no representation is made that any woven basket may be washed or immersed, customers being advised in writing that immersion swells natural fibre, loosens the weave and promotes mould growth, and removable washable liners are offered for any application involving unwrapped contents; material recommendations are made against the customer’s stated storage conditions rather than against use alone, because natural fibres embrittle in prolonged dry heat and are subject to mould in damp storage; nesting products are specified against the customer’s stated shelf, crate or cupboard dimensions and the achievable stack count is stated on the quotation, products being supplied already nested; products for children’s use are sized by the loaded carried weight appropriate to the stated age group rather than by volume, and quotations state the recommended size for the age range supplied; spare quantities are itemised on the quotation rather than included within the ordered count; personalisation runs as variable data with a single order setup charge rather than a per-unit charge, and personalisation is applied to the outer wall or to a fixed rim tag so that it remains legible on a filled basket; baskets intended for small children are supplied without small detachable parts and without long cords or ribbon ties; liners are cut to the customer’s measured basket dimensions, including to baskets not supplied by us; and no confectionery, food or other contents of any kind are supplied, the products being empty baskets and liners only.

Express turnaround

If you are working to an opening, a wedding or an event date, tell us the date when you request the quote. Express turnaround is available on most products and we will confirm in writing whether your date is achievable before you pay.

Delivery

Orders ship from the United States by ground carrier, with transit typically running 2–5 business days depending on distance. You receive tracking as soon as the shipment leaves. Expedited air service is available on request.

Addresses and split shipments

Double-check your shipping address before approval — carriers charge to redirect a shipment in transit and we pass that cost through at cost. We can split one order across multiple locations; just tell us the breakdown when you order.

Lost or damaged shipments

If tracking stalls or a carton arrives damaged, contact us with photos and we will open the carrier claim and reprint or refund the affected portion. You do not have to deal with the carrier yourself.
